The Thief Among Us is a cross-grade, gamified, Science-based, English and Math Integrated Unit. In addition to being differentiated, it is based on student interest and designed with the students in my Grade 4/5 class in mind.

Students work independently and collaboratively on Google Classroom in both English Language Arts and Mathematics. I have a combined class ELA Google Classroom as well as a Grade 4 Math and Grade 5 Math Classroom.

Formative Assessment

Individuals or teams can compete to answer multiple choice questions quickly and accurately. It provides a summary of student answers and flags students that need support. Check out the data I get from a Multiplication Facts quiz.

Formative and Summative Assessment

Individuals or groups provide video responses to a prompt. This is an incredible program to provide opportunities for interview style questions and one-to-one feedback. Students can reply to each other, which creates a community of learners.
